Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate valid for two years.
AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
The AHA’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
After completing the online portion, students attend a structured BLS Hands-On Skill Session .This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. Where available, students may also complete the hands-on session with a voice-assisted manikin (VAM).

The Adult CPR course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older.

The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older
The Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults(about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) is designed to train professionals to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies for adult, child, and infant victims. Consistent with the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically required for healthcare providers and public safety professionals.
Certificates valid for two years.
